IT WORKS LIKE THIS:

A robust 12 volt marine pressure pump is mounted in the vehicle, and draws water from any source - a bucket, tank, creek, lake, etc.

The water passes through a compact (30cm x 8cm) heat exchange unit installed in the vehicle's heater system. It does not mix with the radiator water or coolant.

IT'S EASY TO USE:

Only 2 minutes to set up. Start the vehicle's engine, and when it reaches normal operating temperature (two to five minutes) the shower system will produce a good strong flow of hot water, limited only by the supply.

Connect the suction hose to the filter. Screw on shower hose to the heat exchanger. Turn on the car heater control and then switch on pump.

The result is incredible ... as much hot water as the supply will give.

Temperature is controlled by any or all of three methods ... adjusting tap on shower rose, increasing or decreasing engine revs or altering heater control on dash.

IT'S EASY TO FIT

Eighty percent of units sold have been fitted by the owner. The average handyman takes approximately two hours. Easy fitting instructions are supplied to mount the heat exchanger permanently in the vehicle's heater feed line.

The pump is also permanently mounted in the vehicle, using fittings supplied.

This quality Flojet marine self-priming pressure pump (35 psi) has a recommended retail price of $170 Australian and that's for the pump only.

The pump will draw water from 12 metres horizontally and has a two year warranty.

To satisfy the enormous demand from boating people for a hot shower, Glind Pty Ltd now supplies a marine version of this patented heat exchanger. This ensures there is no corrosio9n in the marine environment - all fittings are made of marine bronze (Australian Standard 486).
